Update Domain Shared Contacts
Update Domain Shared Contacts in Google Workspace Using Genius Workspace Manager
Genius Workspace Manager enables administrators to update domain-wide shared contacts in Google Workspace using a structured Google Sheet.
To begin, open your Google Sheet, navigate to Extensions > Genius Workspace Manager, and click Launch.
Once the add-on is open in the sidebar, select Manage Domain Shared Contacts > Update Domain Shared Contacts, then click Execute to generate the working sheet.
Populate the sheet with the contact data you wish to update. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
To avoid unintentionally clearing existing values, do not leave cells empty. If you do not intend to update a specific field, remove the entire column instead. This ensures the system will ignore that parameter during processing.
Once the data is prepared, select Synchronize in the sidebar and click Execute.
Genius Workspace Manager will process each row and apply the updates to the specified domain shared contacts. According to Google Workspace behavior, updates may take up to 24 hours to fully appear across services. To verify changes immediately, use the Export Domain Shared Contacts feature.
