Bulk Group Deletion in Google Workspace Using Genius Workspace Manager

Genius Workspace Manager enables administrators to delete multiple Google Groups efficiently using a structured Google Sheet interface.

To begin, open your Google Sheet, navigate to Extensions > Genius Workspace Manager, and click Launch.

Once the add-on is open in the sidebar, select Manage Groups > Delete Groups, then click Execute to generate the working sheet.

Populate the sheet with the Group Email addresses of the groups you wish to delete. This field is required and marked with an asterisk (*).

If needed, you can use the Export Groups function to generate a list of all existing groups in your domain before proceeding.

Once the group email data is prepared, select Synchronize in the sidebar and click Execute.

Genius Workspace Manager will process each row and remove the specified groups from your Google Workspace environment. The result of each operation will appear in the Status column of the sheet.

Important: If you attempt to delete a group using an alias address, the main group will still be deleted. Proceed with caution.
